Technically, the government bailing out large corporations is fascism. It would be socialism if they bailed out all the people whose houses have been foreclosed.

I do agree with the sentiment that all the people that are threatening to leave should just up and go; though, I would be one of the evacuees. If McCain and Palin are elected, I will be convinced that I am indeed in the minority living in a country of small minded, self-destructive bigots – but bigots that prefer to live in fear caused by their quaint superstitions. If I’m attending a party and everyone is having a grand time and I think it’s lame, I’m not one to try to ruin the fun for everyone else – I just cut out. America is become one big awful party… one big awful republican party and I’m not having any fun and they can have their fun, I’m cutting out. I might steal some of their beer, but then I’ll be out of their hair: their “i’ll take a number 6” stale, soulless, business-friendly hair. Try not to party too hard, republicans. I’m not really sure why we’re getting into debates about Republicans and Democrats; this video is about Sarah Palin. I don’t care what party you are or are not associated with, she is a joke (a really scary one that could bring on the apocalypse). She’s been put on the ticket solely to take attention away from McCain (unless of course they really think Clinton supporters were that imbecile) and the idea that she could potentially represent our country…. well, if you don’t see anything wrong with that keep praying, we’re gonna need it.
Also, in regard to these Democrat vs. Republican debates….
They are two sides of the same coin. The only thing that’s going to “save” us is some sort of radical change. Hopefully it will be the fall of the bipartisan system; unfortunately it will probably be the rise of a one world government. Instead of arguing about abortion and regulation, why don’t we come together and eliminate the federal reserve? Does the phrase “divide and conquer” mean anything to anyone?

Why would anyone have anything nice to say about a woman who thinks it’s okay to incite hate and violence… who claims to be “Christian” but feels its okay to lie and abuse her power? Perhaps if there was any part of her that was nice or decent then she wouldn’t be so much fun to make fun of… in my opinion there isn’t a person more deserving of such mockery. I can’t imagine anything less patriotic than putting your own selfish goals above the needs of your country – which is clearly evidenced by the choice of Palin as VP. As for being “elite” – Elitism is the belief or attitude that those individuals who are considered members of the elite defined as “a select group of people with outstanding personal abilities, intellect, wealth, specialized training or experience, or other distinctive attributes — are those whose views on a matter are to be taken the most seriously or carry the most weight; whose views and/or actions are most likely to be constructive to society as a whole; or whose extraordinary skills, abilities or wisdom render them especially fit to govern”… gee, I don’t know, why would we want a person who has the intellect, extraordinary skills, abilities or wisdom making them especially fit to govern? Just because we haven’t had those qualities in our leader for the last 8 years doesn’t mean they aren’t desirable for the leader of the free world.

The new Republican “catch word” is Socialist. Just last month they were using names like Radical, Terrorist, Muslim, Arab, That ONE, etc. The Republican (Right) WING NUTS thrive on calling people names in order de-humanize people that dont buy into their white supremacy crap. FYI, when you de-humanize another person its easier on the human brain/spirit/moral compass to bring harm to the person being de-humanized. Note: Remember #9 and #10 were pushed down our throats by a Republican President. Also remember that Republican Senator McCain suspended his weak/lame ass presidential campaign and limped back to Washington in order to help the US become more Socialistic.
Lastly, stop the name calling, pick up a book, use logic and common sense and you shall see the light.

The irony of the GOP using Palin to deliver their wheezing desperate last gasp to strike fear into the heartland with the “S” word, using a plumber’s economic assessment of Obama, is truly remarkable; the hypocrisy almost blinding. Sarah Palin using the word socialism in a negative context??? You want to experience socialism in the U.S.? Head to Alaska! My god, she pushed for the biggest wind fall tax rebate on oil profits ever, granting citizens of Alaska $3,269.00 per person from oil companies profit revenues. Alaskan residents receive the single biggest payout per capita of Federal funds than any other State. Sarah Palin is certainly the right person to be able to identify with socialism.

Bravo. Nice to see someone actually take the time to know what a word means before they start using it. I guess that’s too much to ask from people who get their news from Fox or Rush Limbaugh, though.
Next item: “Redistribution of Wealth”…as though that can only go in one direction (i.e. from rich–>poor). We’ve been experimenting with redistribution of wealth to the wealthy for the past 20 years. Look at the economic expansion in the U.S. since 1980…for the first time in American history, the middle class has not benefited from an economic expansion in line with the country’s GDP. Instead, the richest 20% of Americans have seen nearly all of the gains. Trickle-down economics doesn’t seem to be trickling down at all.
This was the best song I’ve ever heard .Maybe people should wake up and realize with the republicans comming in we would have a country going down the hill. With no health ins. No income comming in and the war getting worse. Wise up people !!!!!!
