Jon Stewart, Master of Irony

How can Jon Stewart make me laugh, while at the same time making me ashamed to live in the same country as some of these people he shows in his video clips:

Incidentally, even though Jon doesn’t specifically mention Fox News, almost all of the video clips shown are from Fox (and the other three are of Republican politicians, taken from other sources).

I hate that the Daily Show is unavailable in the United Kingdom, even from the website. I used to think Britain was a civilized place.

Is it the fault of the British that Viacom won’t allow the Daily Show video to be watched online outside of the US?

Jon Stewart continues to demonstrate what all the news media SHOULD be doing. And his depiction of the conservative war against the poor is stomach-turningly accurate.

How can people who are in the “bottom 50%” EVER support Republicans? Republicans aren’t just indifferent they are actively hostile to those people.

And seeing that on the “income inequality” scale the US is worse than NIGERIA and IRAN should be plastered on every billboard and TV commercial by liberals. If it was time for the Tea Party revolution, it is also time for the Progressives revolution.

It’s a torrent site that has Daily Show posted within 10 hours of it being aired. In HD, no less.

I wonder what a wealth distribution pie chart with just the bottom 40% would look like. Pretty much the same?
Many people only hear what they want to, don’t pay attention to the outcome, and buy into that it’s the other side’s fault. Include their perception of social issues, and we have someone that votes against their own best interest.
If Democrats should stop explaining issues, few are paying attention anyway, too many are too busy figuring out how to get through today.
