We Weld America Made In China

I purchased online these “WE WELD AMERICA” gloves made by Tillman Co.

Fully featured welding glove with WE WELD AMERICA logo on cuff

When they arrived, the fine print on the label said, “MADE IN CHINA”.

American products made in China are so ubiquitous that it should be assumed, left unsaid.

I can relate to the irratation. I purchased a shirt at a nascar event which touted the phrase “Made in America” with a race car pictured below. When noting the washing instructions I found the now common phrase “made somewhere else”, The normally heavy GOP crowd was more than happy to throw down their hard earned cash for what I call “the lie”, but being use to watching fox news I guess they were more accustom to believing the hype without question or protest. The lack of protest or basicly “all bark and no bite” has not served us well as of late. The occupy wall street is a good start and the moving money to credit unions is a good step but I feel it is too vauge, a more direct and pinpoint approach is needed. The worst of the worst banks need to be selected and targeted, everyone close accounts and cut up and mail in credit cards. Then make a statement that in a few months another one will be targeted unless the banks loosen up the purse strings and make loans and stop foreclosing on houses without trying to work with the owners first.

I long found it ironic that my little award pins I’d get while a Federal employee were almost always made in China.
