That is great! Never heard it explained so well.
I love this show, but sometimes it just feels like a thinly disguised political rant. For instance, the structure of the timeline. The first episode was the BP explosion in the Gulf. Now, in about 8-10 episodes, we’ve shot forward about 2 years to almost-present-day. Does Sorkin even have a plan for additional seasons? Or was this show constructed as a single season phenomenon designed to get people to vote the Tea Party out this fall? I honestly don’t know, and I’m not sure how I feel about that.
