An Honest Politician

At last, a completely honest politician. But you might be surprised by what he is saying:

And he’s being funded by an IndieGoGo campaign.

Love it! Satire, like sunshine, can be a powerful disinfectant. Might be the first political campaign I donate to.

Sadly, however, the cynic in me suspects the post-election reality will be more business as usual in D.C.

I logged in and gave Honest Gil Fulbright $50. At least I know what I’m getting for my money – absolutely nothing (other than a chance to expose our national system of institutionalized, legal bribery).

Mayday PAC is a Super PAC whose purpose is to eliminate Super PACS. Irony!

    Definitely looks interesting.

I don’t know if you listen to Dan Carlin, but his latest Common Sense episode covers this exact topic. It’s an interview with the Young Turks’ founder Cenk Uygur. If you don’t listen to him, you should at least listen to this one.

Love it. However, there are groups fighting for an amendment to overturn “citizens united” Move to amend, common cause, etc. The Senate had hearings, but all the effort made so far may come to nothing. Lets hope what they’re doing wakes more people up.
Don’t forget to post this on Facebook. I don’t think too many people will disagree, no matter their political view. This is still the best site on the internet! Speaking of which the big guns have come out for net neutrality, Amazon, Google, etc. I finally saw the issue on the lame stream media.

I also find it ironic that the big outside money ad, against Democrat Bruce Braley, I have to watch here in Iowa is at the top of this page. He is running against someone endorsed by Sarah Palin.
