Mocking Maddow

Stephen Colbert hilariously mocks Rachel Maddow for how she overhyped the release of Trump’s not-all-that-interesting tax return:

He then goes into full V-neck mode to mock how Maddow stretched out her not-all-that-interesting reveal into an hour-long snooze:

Maddow should definitely be lampooned. Shameful what someone will do for a ratings boost. She cant take the high road now. She’s as culpable as the people at fox. Centrists and liberals are taking note of the disarray in the US and seem to be shying away from nationalism. Maybe the good news out of Trump is we will hopefully learn our lesson in 2020.

This is how we treat our allies for the sake of public perception http://edition.cnn.com/2017/03/17/politics/gchq-trump-wiretap-denial/index.html

And the funny/ironic thing is if the white house thinks this attitude of blaming anyone for a stupid reason improves the public perception of this administration its SAD.

Jonah, I guess what people have to understand is that the White House probably doesn’t care what the media thinks. The staff probably tried to take away his twitter, but that obviously didn’t work either. Or maybe IRS a master deception plan, does anyone remember what the issue of the week was before wire gate?
    Exactly my friend.

Listen to Colbert: He calls the man in the white house=Trump and the former man in the white House=President Obama. Not sure if it is conscious or he doesn’t realize he is doing it. Seems appropriate to me.

Patriotsgt, if you’ve read trump’s twitter feed it seems obvious he cares about what the media thinks. He’s constantly calling it fake and putting down journalists. Based on how popular obamacare is now and how unpopular trumpcare is, if he’s smart he should care what the media thinks. Otherwise he has very little chance of doing what he promised, ie repeal obamacare and pass something else since the public opinion of trumpcare seems to be quite low. At this point it looks like he just wants to pass something even if his fanbase is adversely affected.
