Good to see you are back, IK! Didn’t notice until today.
In 2016, I often told liberals that a Trump win wouldn’t be all bad. Trump didn’t create the level of hostility and bias that we see today, and I said that his election would bring that into the open where it could be confronted and repudiated.
If Trump hadn’t gotten election, would we see this kind of acknowledgement on racism:

Or would white women finally abandon the misogynistic Republican party (see 2018 elections)? Donald Trump was supposed to be the Republican savior, and and is instead destroying it.
The liberal backlash within the Democaratic party is also redcing the power of corporations, another plus.
