Purge

Now that Donald Trump fired the FBI director he (until recently) effusively praised, he has to hire someone new. How will he restore trust?

The problem is that it is vitally important that people know that the FBI will uphold the rule of law, and has not become just another partisan hack shop. If Donald Trump does not appoint someone who is absolutely above politics, then we will become no better than a corrupt dictatorship, where what the president says is the law.

So now I take it that the “tapes” that Trump was referring to were more than likely tapes made by Russian eavesdropping equipment that they seem eager to supply to the American people. (Probably to show our Blowhard in Chief their intelligence capabilities). I certainly hope that Russia has a refugee program that Trump and his extended family can take advantage of.

I was listening to a conservative lawyer on NPR and his pitch was that there is nothinh wrong with Trump asking Comey to drop the investigation into the Flinn matter claiming that Trump was just advising him to be careful. This is particularly humorous given that you see what happens to you when you are “not careful” in Trumps eyes. Whats next, people start disappearing when they are “not carefully” watching there step. A slippery slope indeed.

Who in their right mind, who is acceptable to both sides would be crazy enough to step into that position while Trump is in office? Anyone smart enough to do the job is not stupid enough to accept the job. Unless, like Trump, they have an ego so large that they think they are invincible.

The stock market tumbled this morning because of what Trump said. I don’t get it, have they not been paying attention?

If Russia had the intent of destabilizing the world economy, they seem to be playing it to perfection. Any moment now, I expect them to release proof of Trump’s involvement with Russia, the US markets would plummet followed by the European markets.

They wouldn’t do that, would they?
