I want to wish a happy 75th wedding anniversary to Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter. That’s the longest marriage in presidential history. There is a lovely story in the Washington Post about them.

Such a neat couple. I’m not religious, but if I were, these are the people I would look up to and try to emulate. I’m not nearly as nice as they are and that’s not going to change. I’ve been married to the same man for 55 years this coming November. Not going to make it as long as they have, but I hope they keep on doing what they love to do, and loving one another.
