Humour works by juxtaposition of ridiculous ideas ie Sarah Pallin as president-now that is funny!! It isn’t funny to ridicule the poor, the disadvantaged and underprivileged you can’t bring them down -they are already down. That is why the republican comis Dennis Miller is no longer funny. Not fun to kick a person when they are down.!!!! Maybe thats why people who love George Bush can’t laugh at Robin Willims

Let’s get something straight: George W. Bush is reviled and ridiculed by 95% of Europeans, regardless of country. The average European is delighted that Obama won the election, and like the majority of Americans, can’t wait for President Bush’s eight disasterous and destructive years to come to an end! So when Robin Williams ridicules George Bush and Sarah Palin, he knows he’s just preaching to the choir! Our current government well deserves all the ridicule he throws down! What a disgusting crew they are: the unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers, the so-called Christian Rev. I see many people comment that being a POW is not enough experience to be President, with that, I must ask them how Obama has experience over McCain or Palin?

Obama never ran a business, town, state or put in anywhere near as much time and sacrifice in the Senate as McCain. Obama never had any position that required him to take any kind of personal responsibility and accountability.

As for Palin not having experience, she had more executive experience than the rest of the candidates put together. You don’t have to like Palin, but she’s got a solid record of success throughout her life.

I think I maybe have a solution IN GETTING OUR COUNTRY BACK.
Please pass this proposal on to as many as you can and let’s see what the public thinks about it.
Also to your local newspapers, friends and elected politicians.
We just might get our country back on track and get control BY the people, FOR the people.
Fact! Almost ALL highly skilled PROFESSIONALS have to be licensed by state or Federal offices.
I give a few examples like Lawyers, Doctors, Dentists, School teachers, Police, Barbers, Beauticians, Pilots, Cab drivers and I could go on and on.
Now here comes the professional Politician. Ever since the U. S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights was drafted, these cursed/praised class of people have had a free ride and have trampled over the United States citizens like a steam roller.
Rarely having to answer to anyone and rarely impeached or punished.
Most thumb their noses at our most sacred document, the United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights which has been soundly trampled on.
We can see how this has taken place by reading the article “TREASON ABOUNDS” on web site
    http://www.stopthenorthamericanunion.com/TreasonAbounds.html
Now how can this class of people continue on unchallenged, form biased, self serving lobbies without any document of professionalism?
Shall the American people continue on with their goose-stepping political representives marching on in their corrupt manner?
The political machine as we know it no longer have the peoples pick but have big monies hidden forces picking the candidate,
shoving him or her at the public and give the public a false scenario of being in a Democratic society.
    WE’RE NOT PEOPLE, IT’S CONTROLLED.
A prime example is Bill and Hillary Clinton entering the White House nearly bankrupt and only a few short years later have a worth of
over a hundred million dollars made by prostituting themselves to the highest bidder for book rights, speaking engagements and undisclosed donations.
To much under the table double dealing for me. You decide. NOW!
    MY PROPOSAL.
To have EVERY politician running for ANY government office get tested for the privledge of running for their chosen office by taking a test
with the questions coming from the “U. S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights ” and obtaining a POLITICAL LICENSE.
The score having to be a perfect 100 percent and with no less than two hundred and fifty questions from the documents.
The questions coming from, in the form of a lottery machine administered by a top, trusted, security cleared Officer of a Military General class.
This may be debated on who is to administer the test.
    TRUST is the basis.
The license fee shall be based on fifty percent of the political offices first years annual salary. Payable for each time the prospect runs for any and each office, win or lose.
To have legions of corrupt criminals continually being thrown at the people is absolutely unacceptable and WILL STOP.
This is a rough proposal being put before the public for approval.
Beware that it is not squashed by the evil forces that are bring ruin and bankruptcy on our nation.
I would appreciate any feedback from the public and start passing it on.

First of all, if you are trying to express your opinion, then you should say “I don’t find this funny” (not “it is not funny”). As they say, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but not to their own facts.

Second, this video has been viewed over 2 million times, mostly because people who saw it thought it was funny enough to forward it on to their friends. You need to get down on your knees and pray to GOD that this man (OBAMA) will not lead you to destruction. Talking about a CHANGE, you will see a CHANGE in American and it is going to be BAD.

And physical comedy during a characterization makes a viewer want to puke? And it’s wrong to draw attention to cultural differences and the sometimes humorously disconcerting results of interacting? And someone who’s still one of the world’s most famous comedians (who also has some acting skills)is “washed up”, “a flop”? And a joke that goes back at least to the Vaudeville era is distasteful? Perhaps so, but someone must have laughed occasionally in the last 75 years. And “bashing GWB is so out of taste” ?? George W. Obama has no executive experience at any level of government; city, county, state, or federal.

He does not have executive experience as an officer in the military in charge of other men and women serving our country.

Obama has run nothing except his political campaign.

Obama has no accomplishments; no major legislation.

In Audacity of Hope, Obama admits that Reverend Wright was his mentor. The title of his book stemmed from a Wright sermon. Obama attended Wright’s church for over twenty years.

Political, cultural, and religious beliefs are very sensitive subjects. It seems to me that it is acceptable for comedians to make fun of these topics, but if they don’t spread the jokes equally, people will get offended.

I thought it was a hilarious act, but I can see how other people got upset over Robin’s hatred of G W Bush getting in the way of his comedy.

That doesn’t make them wrong; just human.

Firstly, I thought that the monologue sounded like he had a great deal more material, but had to edit it for time – it wasn’t as smoothly flowing as his much earlier stream-of-whacked-out-conscious material.

Secondly, people who want “vengeance” on him for “pickling on our country” are the real “traitors” here: to one of the ideals on which this country was founded – that of free speech.

Thirdly, I cannot believe how many people missed the point of the Obama material. It was not only not racist, it was *anti* racist. The reason it was funny was because none of those stupid stereotypes fit Obama – THAT WAS THE POINT! Good grief – I never thought anyone had to be as intellectual to listen to Robin Williams as you used to have to be to listen to Dennis Miller!

Did not care for his sense of humor when being a prick and making fun of people that really care and want to serve for this great country. As for the grabbing of the crotch–nothing new–must have jock itch or something or just a “dick head”. Next time , maybe he could pick on some of his similar co-workers and that would be entertaining.

I used to be a Robin Williams fan, back when he was funny…. now there is nothing enexpected especially when it comes to politics… borrrring….I respect a comedian a lot more when they dont take a side politically, because then there is some objectivity involved instead of just bashing. Im not sure Williams would find humor in bashing Obama? And of course we haven’t viewed what Obama can or cannot do yet, I sure there will be plenty of material for other comedians to find humor in.

He made a political statement through out his routine which leads me to believe he is washed up. Some of his routine was funny but most is just say, he just sucks or he bad material just something rehashed from on of Air America’s radio program.

As a whole this clip was mildly amusing. Reminded me somewhat of SNL clips making fun of Robin Williams. However, the portion on Obama I found insulting, degrading, and quite frankly racist. It is one thing to use hot topic issues in comedy as a way to force people to think about said issues, but this was not even funny. It was old, tired, and ineffective. The rest of the clip had me laughing. That beginning portion was just painful.
