Fox News uses D for Disgraced?

After Fox News labelled disgraced Governor Mark Sanford as a Democrat (when he is a Republican), Intershame pointed out that this happens far too often to be an honest mistake:

Mark Sanford

John McCain

Arlen Specter (before he actually became one!)

Mark Foley

Lincoln Chafee

Pat Toomey

Ted Stevens

If you’ve read the entire series of Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, you know that in the end we learn that earth is a giant computer built by Deep Thought to generate the ultimate answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything. White mice are actually the hyper-intelligent beings running the experiment.

Sometimes I think that Fox News is part of some giant experiment being conducted by some unknown entity asking some bizarre question that likely has no answer.

Of course you realize this is a stroke of Machiavellian brilliance. Now I’m not in the habit of giving Fox News credit for ANYTHING (especially since they’re my employer and all in all not a great company to work for) but intentionally typoing the affiliations of disgraced republicans is so effective yet so simple its a wonder they’re the first one to try it. I mean, when you build a network on the assumption that journalistic integrity is passe, why not go for broke.

Hmmmm … I wonder if a comparison with CNN or MSNBC would yield similar tactics. Nah! CNN and MSNBC are as true as new fallen journalistic snow. NOT!

    Fox “News” is a Joke…

(Hint: Look at the letter next to Sanford’s name.) Apparently Mark Sanford wants to work with Megan Fox, because he Transformed from a Republican into a Democrat as soon as his sex scandal became public, according to Fox News. This……
