I’m on Vacation!

I’m on vacation for a few weeks. I will try to post a few stories while I’m away — they will appear after this post (I made it sticky so it will stay at the top).

While I’m gone, please visit the many fine and funny websites listed under LINKS (down and to the right on the main page). Or feel free to share stories in the FORUM.

Hmmm…seems more vacation days than GWB in his presidency.

At least you’re not on tax payer dollars.

Yes, I aspire to be like Dubya, at least in that regard!

I miss updates 🙁 This is my only conduit for American political news, because it’s by far the most entertaining. Who else am I to turn to – Fox? 😛

Sorry. Sheesh — internet access in South Africa really sucks. This is the first time I have had access since I left on this trip, over 2 weeks ago. I’ll be back in 10 days, and will try to make it up to you.

Even if I had a month available to take a vacation, I couldn’t possibly do it. I would never dig out of the paperwork upon my return. I actually prefer the occasional one-weeker, with a few long weekends here and there to break up the work blahs.

    I’m BAAAACK!

Dang, I’m out of the country for four weeks with almost no internet access, and when I get back, NOTHING HAS CHANGED!

Not only that, but the exchange rate fell significantly while I was gone. The dollar is definitely circling the toilet.

Sammy, as I’ve mentioned, I have lived in other countries and in most places, 6 weeks vacation per year is the minimum! I got totally spoiled. Plus, I work for myself, so I can take a vacation whenever I want (as long as I can afford it).
