I’m on vacation for a few weeks. I will try to post a few stories while I’m away — they will appear after this post (I made it sticky so it will stay at the top).

    Even if I had a month available to take a vacation, I couldn’t possibly do it. I would never dig out of the paperwork upon my return. I actually prefer the occasional one-weeker, with a few long weekends here and there to break up the work blahs.

    Dang, I’m out of the country for four weeks with almost no internet access, and when I get back, NOTHING HAS CHANGED!

    Not only that, but the exchange rate fell significantly while I was gone. The dollar is definitely circling the toilet.

    Sammy, as I’ve mentioned, I have lived in other countries and in most places, 6 weeks vacation per year is the minimum! I got totally spoiled. Plus, I work for myself, so I can take a vacation whenever I want (as long as I can afford it).
