Here’s a problem when your logic… the conservatives that are currently in the mainstream of American politics are fucking stupid while the liberals are the ones who have been right about just about everything in the past eight years.
You are falling for the Fallacy of the Golden Mean. Sometimes the best answer isn’t in the middle. Sometimes one side is (nearly) 100% right.
A lot of social conservatives bought the idea of Bush too, and got pretty much nothing.
