Newt: Last Not-Mitt Standing

©John Deering

It’s amazing. Just a few weeks ago, his presidential campaign was just a show to help Gingrich sell books and videos. Less than 6 months ago his campaign staff abandoned him en masse due to his lack of seriousness.

Gingrich has not risen like a phoenix, however. Everyone else not-Romney has just dropped away.

Man, I remember calling him the Republican party’s “Yes Man.”

The only line he had during one of the first debates (I think it was CNN’s first with Anderson Cooper as moderator) was “We need to get America back on track and the only way to do that is to not vote another democrat into office!”

That’s it. No platform. No rhetoric. Just plain, simple, unabashed simplicity. It’s funny though, because Ron paul has 18% of the Iowa preliminary vote, behind Gingrich, and AHEAD OF MITT ROMNEY (are you fucking kidding me!?)

Here’s something fun, Iron Filing, that you might find worth a read. A friend of mine asked my opinion on its validity, but I think it’s pretty obvious.

Just kidding, apparently, the article got deleted. Which is pretty ironic in itself. The article was about a supposed “media kill order” issued by Obama, who was put into office by Goldman Sachs so their ex-employees could get into other offices and rob American tax payers of trillions of dollars in Federal Reserve bailouts. And Ron Paul had uncovered this and was trying to preach to dissolve the Fed, and that’s why no one is talking about him in the news, etc.

But I’ll see if I can find another copy of the article, it’s definitely some fun reading.

Edit: here it is! Get it before they kill it!

there might be some truth in here, specifically the secret loan from the fed – and I only say that because I saw it on the daily show last week. Doesn’t it seem odd that it’s not in any major news networks? The rest of the article sounds like the key points of a conspiracy theory. Either that or it’s all true. If it is, god help us all.

Yeah that was my argument too. Either it’s true and we’re all ignoring it or it’s untrue and that’s why we’re ignoring it.

But yeah I saw the same thing on the Daily Show, but technically there was nothing legal preventing them from getting a bailout after making millions on the collapse.

Also the goldman sachs conspiracy theory: lol hardcore. Technocrats aren’t a conspiracy.
