Increasingly, the main subjects of the media is the media itself, or stuff they just make up. Look at the coverage of the Republican primaries, or about Rush Limbaugh, or celebrities, etc.

With no tv, I don’t see this. But the brower shows all this. All about entertainers,sports, etc This is to distract the Populace from the real issues in life. The tabloids don’t talk about the real issues. They talk about what sells. Gossip.
Your’e absolutely correct Ebdoug! And yet we still talk about it here. I guess there’s no other news, or at least news that sells.
We can’t talk about the economy or jobs or national security issues or debt, because then it gives fodder to the Presidents opponents (not that they have any clue on how to solve those issues either). Instead we talk about dirty laundry, because that sells. 🙁
