Will he sue president on his behalf?

Hassan, I would energetically support that lawsuit against the US (and Obama) for the drone killing of American citizens.
Unfortunately, such a crime is not one of the reasons why the Republicans are suing Obama. The vast majority of the GOP supports the drone killings. If anything, the actions of the Bush administration shows that they would do more of them.
Any meaningful action to limit the use of drones against people like Abdulrahman al-Alwaki would be far too sensible for anyone in this government, Republican or otherwise. At the very worst, Abdulrahman was guilty by association with someone who wasn’t even publicly tried for his alleged crimes. The sad part (or, rather, another sad part)? Anwar al-Alwaki could very probably have been quickly and easily tried for treason in absentia and found guilty. That the government didn’t even take that simple step to even pretend they act within the law is bad. That it went on to target his son “accidentally” without any evidence against him, much less a trial, is deplorable.
Nope, instead we’ll see Boehner go after Obama for executive overreach while imploring the President to act in lieu of Congress doing anything productive. Can that be considered entrapment?
THATGUY, yeah the strange part is that the government could have easily taken care of Anwar al-Awlaki in legal constitution way, and end result would be same (him dead), but not sure why they did not take that route.
Hassan, my thoughts exactly. Absolutely stupid and an incredibly problematic precedent to set.
