   If I was to interpret it “a good cartoon” style, then I would say that the GOP thinks that after hollowing out the contents of their own heads with Trump, they are excited to use him as a weapon against their greatest nemesis, not quite understanding that it’s hard to fight someone when you’re already dead.

   My take on how this applies to the election is that Republicans are about to demonstrate (by shooting themselves) how potent a weapon they have in Trump, and right after that they plan on turning that weapon on Hillary.

   But is this making fun of the Republicans, or warning Hillary Clinton that it might kill her too?

    The GOP made Trump possible. He’s using their platform, thus the symbolism of Trump being the gun and the GOP using it on themselves. The “you’re next” statement suggests they still believe themselves to be in charge.
    Hillary is bowing because this whole process is giving her the election.

    I don’t know, it seems pretty straight-forward to me. Just like it did to everyone else. 🙂
