Telling Transition

What kind of marriage does our new president have anyway? They barely acknowledged each other. What a contrast from the Obamas.

Thank goodness someone is acknowledging this: As he got out of the car to go up the steep steps, he left her behind to get out of the car in her four inch heels and climb those steps by herself as she tried not to trip. Says everything one ever needs to know about PINO.

Not sure this is the right one that shows it as it wouldn’t buffer for me. I saw one from the other side.

That is fine, just both nervous for the moment. Perhaps not sure how to behave at the event. Obamas are much comfortable at this level.

I can’t really be shocked much there, he’s been called a million different things but “gentleman” isn’t one of them. Bill Maher nailed it on his show Friday night. The man is pure id.

The Spicer press conference (if you can call it that, given his rant and then storming off without taking questions, no doubt all on orders from the Id in Chief) and his disgraceful appearance before the CIA Memorial Wall on his first day in office, whining even more about the press, are Exhibits A and B.

How many billionaires wake up every day in one of their multi-million dollar mansions, sit on their gold plated toilet and start tweeting on their platinum edition phone about being the victim? I can only think of one.

What kind of woman would marry a person like Trump?

And, now that we have “PINO”, what does the CCHIO stand for?

HTTP, a woman who wants a better life perhaps? And I’m pretty sure her life now is much better than it was before. No more porn, no more wondering whether you will ever get out of the life you have. Certainly not ideal, but better. She is set for life and doing what she needs to do to protect her child.

@ Wildwood – while my questions was rhetorical and your points are entirely valid, personally I have far more respect for people who make porn and earn a living from sex work than from making a Faustian bargain like marrying a Trump.

Damned if you and damned if you don’t. I see nothing wrong with her choice. Old porn stars don’t have much of a life, unless they are very lucky. She was smart enough to grab the gold ring when it was offered. I would have done what she did without too much thought.

I wonder what his will looks like. Is she better off staying and hoping he keels over or getting a divorce? I suspect hanging in there is probably the better bet. I think his adult children might be easier to deal with if she remains married to him.

We might get to witness the first modern presidency divorce. Wouldn’t that be something to see.
