Last week, SNL regular Pete Davidson made a joke at the expense of Republican Dan Crenshaw, who is a veteran of Afghanistan who lost one of his eyes in service to our country. Here’s the video, in case you didn’t see it:
This weekend, Crenshaw, who is now a newly elected Congressman from Texas, showed that he could take a joke, and do it with grace, humor, and dignity. It is worth a view, especially in these times of political division and rancor:
May we be blessed with more politicians like Crenshaw.

Agreed IK, I think it’s also worth noting that Pete Davidson was also very gracious and took the good natured ribbing from Dan equally well. I’d say hats off to both of them.
Now if we can get the rest us to do the same, wouldn’t that be something. 🙂
Happy Veteran’s day to all of you Vets out there and all of your families (they also made huge sacrifices). I miss my Dad (a WWII Vet) and wish him a Happy Veteran’s Day too.

Yes, they both did a good job.
Loved the cell phone ring
Crenshaw really got into it.
Here’s the end of the segment “hit mic” when Davidson leaned over to say something to Crenshaw.

He said, “you’re a good man”
Actually, I could hear it in the original video. And you already revealed what he said. No need to click on the link, which immediately started throwing ads at me.
