Trump sometimes doesn’t lie!

Donald Trump claimed that he has total authority, but backed down in less than 24 hours, and pretended to “allow” the governors to do whatever they want.

But when he said “I take no responsibility” for the failures of the government response to the coronavirus pandemic, I think he was actually telling the truth. Is that a miracle, or what?

“Well…… not everything he says is a projection (or a flat-out bald-faced lie). Trump has proved time and time again that he’s at his most dangerous when he’s telling the truth…..

    (1) He said he’d deregulate businesses, (a.k.a. screw the consumers) and he did.
    (2) He said he’d back the NRA and he has shot down every attempt at gun control
    (3) He said he’d stop the “war on coal” and he turned the EPA over to coal lobbyists
    (4) He said he’d increase defense spending and he has by defunding social programs

    (5) He said he’d reduce illegal immigration and he has by brutalizing and demonizing
migrants and asylum seekers and locking their kids up in cages.
    (6) He said he’d appoint justices to the SCOTUS who’d overturn Roe v Wade and he has, and even if they don’t dump Roe per se, they’ll chip away at it until it’s basically dead in red states.

    (7) He said he’d increase domestic oil production and he did, in part by stealing millions of acres of public lands that are now threatened with exploitation and despoilment.
    (8) He said he’d blow off the Iran nuclear deal and he did, which made his buddy Bombzaway Bibi deliriously happy and upped the odds of the U.S. getting itself enmeshed in another pointless war in the middle east.

    (9) He said he’d end the “war on Christianity” and he’s been enabling the most dangerous extremist Christians in America in their escalating assaults on the LGBTQ community, the freedom to choose, the public schools, the Civil Rights Act, and the separation of church and state.

That’s some pretty nasty-assed truth telling right there.”
