85 days, 16 hours, and 25 minutes

The Gulf Oil Leak has been stopped, although not permanently. Federal estimates are that between 93 and 185 million gallons of crude oil were leaked, wreaking widespread ecological damage to the gulf. The original explosion that started the leak killed 11 workers.

    Iron Knee….it looks like you have made the same error that others have….confusing gallons with barrels (no doubt because of deliberate mistatements on the part of BP). The numbers in your post appear to be way low and would be low even for barrels (42 gallons per). Do some more digging and get out the real figures….BP does not deserve any slack.

    The sad thing is the bullshit spewing from BP still hasn’t stopped. Local news is plastered with ads about BP being sincerely sorry in addition to the national spots. They really want to make this up to us in new orleans. Oh well.
