How much is Romney willing to lie to get elected?

I realize that the Republican base doesn’t seem to even notice lies, but it looks like Obama will be willing to remind independent and swing voters.

For the most part, this is just one politician’s word against another. Where Romney looks worst is when he says things that are just false, like Obama taking military action off the table or not mentioning the debt or deficit at the State of the Union. He knows most of his supporters won’t actually look it up.

To answer your question, as much as he needs too. Thatguy has it right – most of his supporters (as well as those that will vote for him just to vote against Obama) don’t want to do the critical thinking necessary to sort out truth from fiction, lies from facts.
