© Matt Bors I guess it is important to bail out rich bankers and insurance companies, but when it comes to regular working stiffs…
Regardless of what you think of Keith Olbermann, sometimes he gets everything exactly right:
© Kevin Siers The real environmental disaster is our addiction to fossil fuels and gas guzzling monster cars. But who cares about that?
In the political marketplace, there’s now a run on Obama shares. The Left is disappointed with the president. Independents are abandoning him in droves. And the Right is already dancing on his political grave, salivating about November, when, his own press secretary admitted Sunday, Democrats might lose the House. I have a warning for Republicans: […]

© Mike Thompson Republicans might have fed the Tea Party, but so far it is mainly taking votes away from more mainstream Republicans.
© Ben Sargent When asked repeatedly about specific things the Republicans will do to cut the deficit, Congressman Pete Sessions (R-TX) and Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) draw a blank. Finally, in desperation, Sessions says he wants to go back to the economic policies of the Bush Administration. Seriously. And Cornyn says he is waiting for […]
The Tea Party in the township of Homer, Illinois has decided that they need to take action against the illegal immigrant plague (which they don’t have) and declare English to be their official language. Here’s the text of their resolution, how many errors can you spot? Homer Township Board recognizes that there most likely no […]

Reagan famously said “government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem”. This quote has been taken out of context and twisted into implying that the government is incapable of solving problems, so the size of government should always be reduced by cutting taxes and eliminating government regulation. But if you read […]
© Ed Stein Again, Ed Stein has excellent commentary to go along with his excellent comic: Despite the annoying fact that the Federal government has been unable to craft a coherent immigration policy, it simply isn’t up to the states to design their own. there’s this little constitutional problem, which is that the Federal government […]
© Matt Bors You know, I can almost believe that if a foreign power wanted to destroy America, they couldn’t do nearly as good a job as this. UPDATE: Commenting on the spy swap with Russia, VP Joe Biden said “I thought they’d take Rush Limbaugh”. Maybe they would have if we had thrown in […]
